    That was one of the best episodes in a long time. Probably the darkest social commentary they've ever done.

    The Simpsons production schedule doesn't allow it to be nearly as topical. When they try to do topical episodes they feel dated and meh. Family Guy has been really bland as of late as well. South Park is in a league of its own, poking fun at the headlines while still having outlandish plots that make you think. It isn't all the same if you ask me. Again, the reason to watch the Simpsons is the characters. The reason to watch south park is to see what effed up jokes they make.

    Let's be honest. What's the skew of 18 yos vs 60 yos that will fill out a survey to complain about stuff? Probably skews old. In fact, I'm surprised that any simpsons made it.
