I finally got around to watching Justified. I am midway through season 5 at the moment. Good show, the production value gets better as the show progresses, so does the acting. It's one of the few shows where you really don't know what to expect. A lot of twists and turns. I also appreciate how they utilize the location, similar to Breaking Bad and True Detective. The setting itself has a lot of character.
Does the pace ever pick up? I started it but only got through a couple of episodes. They're just soooooo loooooong and soooo sloooooooow. I love the premise and I really want to watch...it's just that my ADD can't take it.
I was on my laptop playing around while watching. I think that is what got me through the slow parts. Im finding more and more shows have useless filler. I also binged it so it feels like one giant run-on. By the end of season 3, I felt like there was direction in the show. Halfway through, it started getting interesting and the sci fi starts showing. Honestly I am not sure if this show is going to end well. When it comes to parallel universes, writers can get pretty ridiculous. If a show is going to end well that involves parallel universes, my money is on this show.
Because of Vikings and The Last Kingdom, I gave Norsemen a shot but gave up after half an episode. Let me know if it gets better.
Checking out the show IMPULSE . . . aka . . . JUMPER EXCEPT WITH A FEMALE on YouTube Red . . .. they got some free episodes. EDIT: Jumper meets 13 Reasons Why Rocket River
I just watched an HBO documentary called Student Athlete. Man, it was really eye-opening. All this time I considered college athletes spoiled, but nothing could be further from the truth.
I am on episode 4 of Maniac .. . . .what am i Missing? I am not enthused . . .. the best thing about it is the Warren Moon JErsey Rocket River
Netflix has some interesting projects going with other countries. Imma gonna expand my horizon there.
I'm watching All American on the CW. It's basically One Tree Hill With black people and football. Don't judge me. Remember me different.
I pretty much binge watched all the seasons of this BBC show. Set in London's East End back in the 50's and 60's. Lots of stars from the show Eastenders appeared on some of the episodes.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix is pretty good. It's more Addams Family than Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Pretty creepy too.
