If you didn’t know that Trump was a megalomaniacal, misogynistic racist asshole w a track record of failing businesses that’s on you. Spare everyone the false equivalency that “all politicians are bad” so you can justify your vote. Few are as terrible and particularly as openly vile as Trump, now or ever.

Maybe they aren’t perfect but there are good people either in or running for office. Don’t normalize the guy who has always been a dictator-loving sociopath simply bc you weren’t smart or morally-resolute enough to realize that ahead of time.

Back in the day, it would have been an old work shirt and bell bottoms. Of course, back then, I wasn't a Democrat. I was freelancing.

Eh, he uses both sides argument to justify a Trump vote. When did Obama hire family members for national security counsel? When did Obama set up inhumane camps for illegal immigrants? When did he separate these people from their children and then lose them? When did Obama ever hang out with Epstein when we know Trump did? When Obama said he was going to come up with an attempt at fixing healthcare, he followed through despite knowing it was gonna split the nation on healthcare for everyone, meanwhile Trump guts it, claims to come up with a better cheaper alternative and never does? When did Obama threaten to cease funding for CHIP if his wall didn't get built?

The Beard is an idiot. I'm never going to run into him in person and if I ever do, I doubt I'd somehow know his BBS moniker. You can't pull this both sides crap when Trump takes the biggest nastiest well done steak with ketchup, 4 quarter-pounder McDonald's constipated ***** on our nation. The dude is burying his head under the sand.

That's ignoring the fact that a strong economy is projected to go into recession because of Trump's tariffs, tax cuts that didn't even stimulate the economy to the levels Obama did in his 8 years.

And so help me I get 5 more robo-calls because Trump and Idiot Pai decided to remove consumer protections like against what constitutes as an auto-dialer. These are the types of regulations that actually do impact my everyday life that Trump and his administration has rolled back on in the name of deregulation. The Beard is an idiot. CometsWin is right.

They think they're well informed and we're the spastic dolts tho. They're incubated in their news bubbles and everything we read is fake news.

There is so much wrong with this post that it boggles the mind. If you want to know what I think about trump's politics, the two major political parties, and history (which you don't know nearly as much of as you seem to believe), @The Beard, do a search. It's in dozens of posts, just waiting for you.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We will.

If Carlson said "there's nothing wrong with what Hitler did" don't you think that would spark outrage in people? Or you one of those people that think the Holocaust was a hoax? I do agree that a tremendous amount of other ethnicities were victims as well and never had modern coverage but come on man....

It depends. If Tucker said that out of nowhere it might spark some outrage, but it would also have a lot of people saying the outrage was just another liberal 'faux outrage' scandal.

If Trump said something along those lines first, and then Tucker came out and supported Trump by saying it, even fewer would be outraged.

And I’ve said I don’t like any candidate in this election

the problem with 90% of America is that is you don’t speak out with hate for the other side, you are hated yourself by both sides

Both sides of this argument are killing our nation, you are all just too stupid to understand that

    lol

I’m not trying to “justify my vote”

anyone who tries to do so is ignorant

once you vote and the election is over it’s out of your hands

our economy is strong and our national security is also

Trump is an asshole, but the other side is bringing us candidates who will bankrupt our nation

so go ahead ripping one side and spewing hate on the other

I’ll continue to understand that both sides are screwed, you can continue to think as long as we get rid of Trump all will be well

    ignorance at its best

That's fine not liking any candidate in the election, but one and only one is a known racist, who hires white supremacists in his cabinet, regularly locks up children never convicted of any crime as a matter of policy, put the plan into action to do that knowing there was no way to reunite them with their families, humiliates American intelligence agencies while knowingly spreading the propaganda and doing the wishes of our foreign adversary.

So there may be things you dislike about any and all of the candidates. But only one of them has that on their resume.

Bankrupt our nation? Trump has been way worse for our nation's debt than anyone. Getting rid of Trump may not make things well but it will make them better.

The two leading candidates in polls on the left right now are actually the moderate ones

This idea that there aren't better options even for a right winger are pretty out there

They're not all Bernie and Warren

Not that they would bankrupt the nation either but if democratic socialism is what scares you, they aren't exactly leading the pack

What we spend on military and wars is what bankrupts the nation, not roads and healthcare but that's a seperate debate.

    Our economy is strong? https://www.marketwatch.com/story/u...d-during-the-2008-financial-crisis-2019-06-19

It's so amazing how people can easily be deceived by GDP and stock market growth as genuine health indicators of how the economy is working for average Americans.

We live in what I call a "forced supply side" economic system. This happens every GOP cycle. Pump up the market for temporary gain by throwing money at the wealthy with massive tax cuts which increases the deficit. Lower fed interest rates. The "job creators" then proceed to invest not based on consumer demand based in added disposable income for the consumer class but rather laxed regulations in terms of borrowing money. An average of 1-3 percentage increase in average income when accounting for inflation doesn't change spending habits of the consumer hence this economic boom is being driven by consumers financing phones, tvs, furniture etc. And since the average disposable income of the average American family isn't increasing in any discernable amount, eventually all these bad loans and financing practices are going to result in massive levels of defaulting or consumers paying off bills rather than spending money on new products or services and boom, you have a recession.

That's what the GOP presidency does time and time again. They only care about the next election cycle, so as long as you can pump up the markets at the detriment of the long term health of the economy, so be it. It's a horrible system especially because all the massive publicly traded companies also have zero incentive for long term sustainability and would rather maximize profits for the next few quarters at the expense of long term sustainability. The average shareholder doesn't keep the same shares for years at a time and resuffles their investments constantly so their is no loyalty to a specific company for long term sustainability and the average executive at these publicly traded companies have an average term of 1-3 years so they couldn't give two ***** about what happens to the company 10-15 years down the line.

So we have two irresponsible forces that doesn't care about long term sustainability. What's even more frightening under Trump is usually during decent GDP growth, which we are experiencing now, the deficit is supposed to shrink as tax revenue is supposed to increase. But that is opposite of the case. The deficit is surging past 1 trillion dollars and that is frightening because when the next recession hits, that deficit is going to explode even more.

The economy isn't healthy. It isn't sustainable. Consumers have a limit of how much debt they can hold before the bubble bursts and the GOP only cares about pumping up numbers for temporary gain just for the next election. They are fine with these massive cycles of boom and recessions as long as the recessions that are created by their irresponsible polices occur under another adminstration. What's unfortunate is for th common American, these booms have little discernable effect on their lives as an increase of a couple of percentage points in average wage growth when accounting for inflation isn't life changing but recessions actually hit the consumer class hard. The average American doesn't feel the booms. They just feel the recessions. And the next recession given the massive amount of consumer debt and how our federal deficits are rapidly increasing is going to hit hard.

And honestly, I really don't know what you mean by "our national security is strong". What has Trump specifically done to keep our national security "strong" at least "strong" relative to previous administrations.
