Trump: Transgenders no longer welcome in the military

As, perhaps, a corollary to this vein of thought....

"Christians" who cite the bible for their explanations/definitions of these aspects of human behavior do so, seemingly, with a not-so-surprising lack of comprehensive knowledge of any scripture outside of the old testament Jewish laws in the book of Leviticus (if, for the purposes of sustaining their argument, we subscribe to the idea that the bible is both "literal" and "infallible")....

...there is a passage of scripture in the book of Jeremiah, for instance, that does make an interesting observation in and of itself...
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." - Jeremiah 1:5...

...and a few other places where such claims/observations about prophets or apostles were made. A point could be made (aside from the theological meaning of predetermined fates), that "God" knew from the very beginning what shape and form a human body would take, and from what perspective that form would perceive itself.

Most doctors know one thing about human development: all human beings start out as, essentially, female. The male chromosome (if it appears at all in a fetus), does not do so until after the first three to four weeks of gestation. Human beings develop emotionally as well as physically, and the XY chromosomes are primarily responsible for that emotional development. If (human) life begins at conception, there's no getting around that.

Getting in touch with ones feminine side doesn't sound quite so gauche after that revelation....

So if the baseline for both male and female development is female, it stands to reason that the "mental disorder" definition assigned once (and yet again) to homosexuality and transgenderism does have its foundation in nature and biology.

...which would, again, discount (or at least, redefine) what constitutes a "mental disorder"...

At last estimate, there may be as many as 7 billion human beings on the planet, and among that number, as many as 5 percent or more are homosexual. Angles not found in nature, I've gathered, are more about angles we do not acknowledge rather than ones that do not or "should not" exist to our own thinking. Legitimacy is not about dominance, but social orders establish this maxim in order to build consensus and then civilizations, by and large.

Humankind has existed (in various states, but as essentially both mentally and physically what we recognize today) possibly for hundreds of thousands of years. And the occurrence of homosexuality has been around just as long if not longer. I would suppose that transgenderism is a derivative of homosexuality. Thought and emotion (and specifically, our recognition and application of these traits) makes us human beings much more so than gender classifications can in a higher-order social context (a context not dependent upon biological directives of survival...like procreation)....

It could be argued that the difference between...oh, let's say...Neil deGrasse Tyson and Donald Trump...amounts to a "mental disorder"...one where we would say "genius" for one and "idiot" for the other...

...but I suppose that's the point, ultimately. We can call something (or someone) whatever we want. Doesn't change what their biology says they are. Dear old moms used to tell me all the time that "...you can't fight your biology, boy...all you can do is understand it..."

We attempt to recognize and protect ourselves, in our laws and our governance, from those instances where the biology threatens the society by way of malice of forethought attributed to the individual. And we all ought to have had our fill of throwing blankets over things we don't like or fully understand as a means to control or dominate it.

The human species has not survived because of procreation. That's every life-form's directive...and who knows what has lived and died on this planet despite this. Human beings have survived because we could adapt to and master different environments.

...so I guess it only makes sense that what may ultimately ruin us isn't what we face...but what we deny. The devil's in the details, as they say.

Guess this might be a religious thing after all.....

These numbers people throw around as fact are don't pass any BS test. I'm sure you found some source for this but reputable poll showed 0.3%. How reliable is that? It still seems high to me as that 0.3% poll showed 1.8% as bisexual. Then another reputable poll showed 0.07% as bisexual.

The argument should be completely reframed as the military should accept people who make the military a more lethal fighting force.

The United States military has been desperate enough to enlist former convicts and other low lifes that have cost our DOD signficantly more so understand Trump supporters that this is nothing more than Trump needing a bone to throw at his desperate base who desperately want to start saying "IM TIRED OF WINNING!" but they can't because unfortunately they chose an idiot of a president who is too incompetent to win at anything besides persuading those same idiots to vote for him. It's a feedback loop from hell.

That's what I think of the this stupid new decree by our idiot in cheif as a former Marine infantry rifleman. No this has absolutely **** to do with 'force readiness'.
