    Whoops, not so fast...
    ______

Phone call Trump said he had with North Korean regime was actually with South Korea's president

President Trump incorrectly described a phone call he had with South Korean President Moon Jae-in as being with someone from North Korea, a National Security Council official said Monday.

While discussing North Korea on Saturday, Trump said "they, by the way, called up a couple of days ago. 'We would like to talk.' And I said, 'So would we, but you have to de-nuke, you have to de-nuke.'" In reality, the call on March 1 was with Moon, the official told South Korea's Yonhap News Agency. "President Trump did not have a call with the North Koreans," the official confirmed. The leaders did talk about North Korea, and Moon told Trump about the envoy he was sending to Pyongyang to meet with Kim Jong Un.

Either he was lying about talking to North Korea, or he doesn't know the difference between North and South Korea. Each scenario is equally likely.

Shows how out of touch elite @KingCheetah is.

At the Broken Axle diner in Rustytown, Ohio, nobody much cares about which Korea is being talked about by the wagging tongues of Washington "North, South, it don't make much difference around here," said Joe Ironberger, a retired welder, digging into his sloppy joe with a cup of joe and while sitting across from his wife of 34 years Josephine, who goes by Jo. "We had a Chinese fella up in here a few decades back runnin' a restaurant, but none of us really cared for the food too much. Then China came in and moved his job to China. So all we have is the diner here now"

How do you mix up a North Korean official with the South Korean President?

Come on Trump supporters, how do you rationalize this one?

The rationalization will be that it was at the Gridiron dinner...

He was trolling you left wing nuts.

    Everyone knows he was joking.

Besides, that is just how Trump talks, you know what he meant. That is how people from NY talk.

North Korean leader Kim Jong-un appeared from the Panmungak, a building on the northern side of the truce village of Panmunjeom, at 9:27 a.m.

President Moon Jae-in was waiting for him in front of Freedom House, a building on the southern side, right behind the military demarcation line (MDL).

As Kim walked between buildings T2 and T3 ― meeting rooms of the Military Armistice Commission ― toward the MDL, Moon walked toward the line and they shook hands with the line between them.

Then Kim unexpectedly asked Moon to cross the MDL toward the northern side, and the two, holding hands, walked across the MDL again to the northern side briefly and came back to the South.

Moon then escorted Kim to the southern side, as the summit venue is the Peace House, another building in the South.
It was the first time a North Korean leader has set foot in the South since the Korean War
