Trump rumored to pivot towards amnesty for some immigrants

Just goes to show you that the man really has no interest in being a Republican or a Democrat and just wants power

 

It was inevitable that Trump would start to move back to the left, he did spend his entire life as a Democrat after all. You don't go from hardcore Hillary supporter just 7 or 8 years ago to what Trump was trying to pretend he was in just a few years legitimately.

 

Well they all want power but Clinton has a thirty year old record of largely supporting Democratic concerns whereas Trump has completely changed everything he supports in a relatively short period of time. It's astonishing really.

 

Well most of them want power for a reason. Trump just wants power because he's a pure narcissist.

 

I don't think it's really about Trump flip-flopping. If he really does intend to flip his position that'd be great, because his original position is evil and ridiculous. The problem is that he's not flipping, he's just lying.

I'll take this comfort though, whether he's lying or flipping, it shows the pressure to fix immigration is powerful enough that not even Trump can stand on unrepentant nativist policy positions. Republicans didn't let Obama fix immigration. They're going to have to let Clinton fix it or do something themselves, or else something is going to blow before her terms are over.

 

Clinton has had 30 years of supporting whatever gets her a vote. Trump and Clinton both are pretty transparent to the unbiased voter.

 

After seeing how well Clinton is doing, I heard he's changing parties to run as a Democrat. Also has a new slogan "Make America Grate Again." Believe me.
