How many times is Trump going to act like Putin's b**** over the next four years? Constant praises of Putin is getting embarrassing.. How much dirt does Russia have on the RNC anyway?

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/12/30/polit...ion-to-withhold-sanctions/index.html?adkey=bn

While Russia is trying to reclaim the glory days of the USSR and being a Superpower; territorial claims and military flexing in Ukraine, Syria, etc. Trump is b****ing about US Military presence in Japan, Korea, Germany, etc; and being the Defense for NATO and Asia. The only reason NATO and Asia countries listen to us is because we play that role in the world.

Putin wants and believes Russia's rightful position in the world is a Superpower. Trump is playing right into his hands.

Putin is playing chess and Trump still playing checkers

Nah, Putin is playing checkers and Trump is offering to bring him a delicious $18 Taco Bowl from Trump Grill while he shines his shoes.

Both giant losers. Screw them both.

    No puppet. ;)

Putin probably has trouble believing that, in the end, it could be this easy.

Obama let Putin take Crimea and slapped his wrist with some sanctions. Then hackers, supported by Russia, hacked the corrupt and failed DNC. Obama issues more useless sanctions. Putin laughs at him and calls him out on his lame duck last minute guns blazing session as Obama is escorted out the door. Putin does have a b**** and his name is Obama.

Useless sanctions? What are you talking about. Have you looked at Russia's economy as a result of the sanctions? They are far from a slap on the wrist or useless.

Your argument against sanctions is like complaining against the effectiveness of a swimming pool because it's just useless water and some chemicals in a useless cement holding tank. Yet, it serves the exact purpose for which it is intended.

Russian economy has been **** for decades but they had a Great Recession in 2009 which they really never recovered from still. Russia annexation of Crimea occurred in 2014 so sanctions had nothing to do with the 2009 Great Recession. In fact Russian has not fully recovered from 2009 but they have flattened out over the last 5 years or so averaging about a 2% growth rate overall the last 6 years.

All Obama sanctions did was kick a dog that was down because of a shotgun blast to the face. It's symbolic but relatively useless.

The economy hasn't been able recover while the U.S. economy has because of the sanctions. There's a reason why Putin is crying to have them removed. Obama crippled their economy with his sanctions.

Yes like much of the world there was a great recession in Russia, but unlike the U.S. they haven't been able to recover. The sanctions have done their job quite well.

I think history has shown that Obama is Putin's b**** time and time again. The jury is still out on if Trump will follow in Obama's footsteps in that regard.

One who cripples the others economy can hardly be called the b**** of the crippled economy.

    LOL sure. That's what happened.

Let's just ignore the time that Obama ran his mouth in Syria only to have Putin tell him to go get his shine box or any of the other times he's made him look like an idiot. Russia has expanded their borders, expanded their influence in the world, and exposed the corruption of Obama's party meanwhile Obama has done nothing. The hit to Russia's economy that you are talking about had to do with lower prices of oil.....which now are going back up due to OPEC cutting production.....and Russia has expanded their oil and gas production by conquering Crimea.

Yeah, I bet they are really feeling "crippled" right now.

You do know that there's a reason Putin is so desperate to have the sanctions removed, right? It isn't because they aren't effective.

Oh, for sure, conquering other neighboring countries with no fear of meaningful repercussions and telling the US president to piss off when he talks about going after a leader if he uses chemical weapons on his own people.....and that president immediately tucking his tail between his legs and pissing off is certainly the acts of someone who is "desperate".

Face it, Obama was a REALLY weak president when it comes to foreign policy, he was basically EVERYONE'S b****. He thought it would make everyone love him and respect him.....but as we all know, that's never how it goes. US allies don't trust us and our enemies don't fear us. That's what Obama's foreign policy legacy is.

For all we know, Trump will follow in Obama's footsteps and be a little b**** too, but as of right now, he's got a clean slate.

A sign of b****ness is how Trump handle sanctions against Russia. Russia desperately want those lifted. Will he lift them without much or anything in return?

Well, it seems we are live witnessing a new political group in the making. I wonder if there have ever been an American-not-first political group ever in the history of the US? Interesting to see how far this group will go. My guess is it will go as far as Trump take them.

Anyone that doesn't believe the sanctions against Russia by Obama have severely hurt Russia is ignorant. Their economy was rebounding prior to the sanctions and was nearly at the pre-2009 level. Since the sanctions their currency has collapsed, by their own admission they have lost tens of billions of dollars and their GDP has had a negative rate. Investment in Russia has collapsed and interest rates have gone up.

There is a reason the Putin didn't want Clinton elected President; he has to have the sanctions modified or lifted. Russia cannot survive without foreign investment and a negative GDP. Russia has also stopped their expansion in the Ukraine.

I strongly disagree with how Obama has handled foreign policy in the Middle East. However Obama's handling of the expansion into Crimea has been exceptional.
