Good for Haley. At least someone in this administration doesn't bow.

Must suck to work for an administration that is so disjointed that your work is embarrassed...

Senator Marco Rubio, explaining his flip flop and now support of trump's choice to head up NASA (despite having no science background). Gives reason to pause when considering congress role...

Backwards, and it must be a new found belief system of Rubio's. Because he sure didn't show the same deference and allowance of discretion for President Obama, since he voted "Nay" for Thomas Perez (Secy of Labor), Sarah Jewell, (Secy Interior), Jeh Johnson (Secy Homeland Security), Sylvia Burwell (Secy of HHS), and Jack Lew (Secy Treasury). Gee, you don't think Rubio chose to abdicate his responsibility of Advise and Consent, just because trump is a republican while Obama was a Democrat?

That’s what I thought at first but it seems like a lot of ppl are coming forward and saying he isn’t a good manager. It would be funny if the White House knew all this and were trying to move him to VA bc of it.

Well that's how swift boating works. If he was drunk tending to a president, can we get a president to confirm or deny? After all, they are the customer. If he led a hostile work environment, are we going to see any contemporaneous complaints filed with HR? Likewise, if he was too liberal with prescriptions, was any complaint filed at the time? Are we going to see any of the 20+ complainants come testify? It all sounds like bs to me.

I don't care if he got drunk (well, of course you don't want anyone getting drunk, but I wouldn't disqualify him for that)... I only care that he doesn't have the experience to lead such an huge and important organization. And funny, the trump administration tried to bring out letters of recommendation from GWB and Obama, but both were recommending he be promoted to two star... not to be named the head of a cabinet or administration.

Never should have been nominated in the first place due to lack of qualifications for the position... and sure, politics, but trump and his people have to do a much better job of identifying and vetting candidates.

Trump has a great track record of nominating the best.

I'm a bit concerned about this opening a new front on partisanship, featuring cynically submarining nominations. When the next president comes along and nominates cabinet members, are some members of the Senate going to start doing character assassinations as a 'what's good for the goose is good for the gander' sort of payback for the failed Trump nominations? And not just the nominations, but all the ethics focus on sitting members like Pruitt and Carson. Even if these efforts aren't motivated by politics, it is pretty easy to expect that some people will see them with a jaundiced eye and plan for some revenge.
