I didn't like the new ghostbusters at all and I'm a yuge fan of the originals and the cartoons. I can understand the meltdown.

But calling al sharpton a race baiter? that's like the viagra pill calling the cialis pill a performance enhancer.

Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) is either an outright liar or buffoon... read the article he links in his tweet accusing Democrats of blocking trump ambassador confirmations...

With all of Trump's attacks on the FBI, interesting to see what the guy that heads up the FBI thinks...

Zinke tries to blame predecessors yet the survey says "in the last year".

Hey, who knew a man who was handed everything in life and never had the motivation to intellectually challenge himself is grossly incompetent at a high level office?

Also worth pointing out... that was a republican senator frying that trump judge nominee. I am sure even the republicans were insulted by these nominees...

I mean listen, I've gotten things in life I haven't earned before. Lucky breaks, generosity, etc. However, if I'm in this man's position I would have declined this position from The Donald. If he owed you a favor couldn't he have made you the ambassador to some country for a year or two? I mean who cares about diplomats. But a lifetime appointment to a federal judgeship? At some point doesn't your own personal integrity...forget integrity...your own personal desire not to be a total embarrassment prevent you from accepting this?

Normally they have people on the president's staff prep these nominees.

Forget prep. I mean BEFORE the prep.

I don't know what you do for a living NewRoxFan but I'm going to assume you are not a professional soccer player.

If the GM of the Dynamo was your buddy and he said "Hey man, I'm going to appoint you the new coach for life of the Dynamo. All you have to do is get interviewed by a panel of soccer experts, oh and some of them hate me and want me to look bad. If they interview you and you convince them that you are the best coach you got the gig!"

Wouldn't you say "ummmmm...I don't think this is the right job for me?"

I get the whole "fake it till you make it" mantra but I think personal integrity should lead you to turning down an offer that you know you aren't qualified for ESPECIALLY when you have to get interviewed by a freaking Senate panel ahead of time.

With the exception of me never having taken a deposition, I could have answered the questions the same.

Yeah, I don't get it. If someone asked me if I wanted to start for the Rockets, I would say "no."

Okay, maybe for one game for the lulz, but definitely not a lifetime appointment of embarrassing myself and hurting the team.
But since these clowns actually want to harm the judiciary, maybe this would be more like me getting a lifetime starting gig for the Warriors. :-D "Oh, ****, Steph, I never saw you coming off that screen, and then I somehow got my 15th turnover of the quarter."

Welcome to the court the most Honorable bobrek, though you may need to start capitalizing your moniker. I mean, this is a seriously honorable position. For life.

My son is a lawyer and he generally responds quickly to my FB messages, so I've got that going for me. I can set up a FB live stream whenever I hear a case.
