Zhou Chee needs to go as well, get 5 blocks per game for a season, and train and play more games close to nba speed and competition is better for him, we can't just sit him there for a season and hope he can develop anything, kids have to play to get better

He's on the team for the China market. Part of the reason why Rockets sold for so much.

    I don't get it...
I remember having Harrel and Dekker on both Vipers and Rockets at the same time for several games.

What has changed that makes it impossible for Qi to do the same?

YES! I was hoping they would call him back. I feel like this guy could be a hidden gem. His body type and movements remind me a lot of T Mac. He was already good at dunking but he’s three point shot has been on point in summer league and pre season

He gets to guard one of our previous hidden gems, too -- Covington.

Yeah, we let Covington go because McHale loved veterans and never could find playing time to develop the younger players, except for Parsons. Similar to MDA! Smart coaches, like Pop, find time during the season to develop young players and don't wear out their veterans.

I swore out loud when I saw the news that they were keeping Garcia over him. Garcia sucked that year.

    I mean,
    • you left out Beverley
    • We Amnestied Scola to play Morris and PPatt
    • We traded them to play TJones and DMo.
With Parsons, that's 60% of our starting lineup that we dedicated to developing young players.

Pretty much every fan base wants to see young players play more, even Spurs fans, and we gave 3 starting positions to young players, counting our PF platoon system, that's 4 players. Counting two eras of PFs, that's 6 players.

    Then
    • A very raw Capela played all 17 playoffs games as a rookie. Then McHale was giving him significant minutes early before being fired

    Lol

We let Covington go because he was unguaranteed and kept guaranteed options instead

Nothing really had to do with shiit mcfail

Also, he was a serious project. He could shoot but sucked at defense. Going to ohilly he completely dedicated to defense and lost a lot of his shot in the process. Now he's putting both together.

    He deserves credit
