The first and best use of the terms Matrix and Dream Team were in '80s films.

this is coming out on my birthday?!!!

It was a must buy anyway but definitely will now.

I have the UK blu-ray of the film

and that looked way better than the 20th anniversary DVD that was released but I am sure this official release will be a lot better than that one.

Actually I should go pre-order it right now :)

QUESTION: So earliar this week, I "casted" this illegal YouTube of Transformers the Movie to my smart TV and watched it with my 4 year old son:

He was in love!!!! But I started realizing how violent it was for a 4 year old boy and had to stop it after the battle of Optimus and Megatron. This was one of my fav all time movies when i was kid in the 80s (this and Karate Kid), but man was it violent.

Ever since then, he's been bugging me everyday about watching it. Even said in the car just this morning "Why don't you let me watch Transformers?" which I told him its too violent.

So i ended up buying the Blu-Ray from Amazon for only $14.99, and just got it in the mail today

My question: Would you let a 4 year old watch this movie? My wife thinks its too violent, but I want to share with him a big part of my childhood....but maybe i should wait till he's a bit older. What do you guys think?

It's entertainment and make-believe. Teach him about the differences from make-believe and reality.
