As much as it pains me we should not force him to waste his career here. Rather see him shine with team first players and a competent management. Let's just go out and fill the roster with a bunch of JR Smiths and let harden make the Rockets his personal AND 1 mixtape team. No point in pretending to be an organized franchise looking to win championships. So ****ing done with these losers.
Cool story Bro! How dare the great "DMO" be held back! He and his career 8/4 stat line can go shine somewhere else!
He might indeed be traded, he will be a near max player this off season - and it will depend upon whether Morey or the next GM will value him at that level, and in some degree whether Harden does. IMHO, he is the 2nd most important player on the Rockets - a uniquely skilled big man with All Star potential if given the touches and playing time. But, what I think doesn't matter. Morey has shown a history of getting rid of players that are merely good - Scola, Patterson, Lowry etc..etc..etc...in his search for GREAT ones. Morey's theorems have not provided the championship level team he has been tasked with building and due to his shortcomings of undervaluing coaching here we are.....IMHO, I think this is his last season in charge, and that if the team HE built doesn't come CLOSE this year, he is probably done in Houston, and what that means for the players will be determined by Les. In fact, I believe that Les is probably more involved than ever in this team, and is holding Morey accountable more than ever..... I have no evidence of any of this, it is just a feeling I have from reading all the articles and tea leaves..... DMo's future is uncertain in Houston, and his future as an NBA player will be determined by his particular FIT with either the Rockets or his next team. He is a VERY talented offensive player who plays great team defense. Those are rare, and he will be paid, but will it be by Houston...????? If they think he has all star in him, then yes, if they think he is Chandler Parsons level - then no. Of course, again, IMHO, teams that ACHEIVE greatness keep Chandler Parsons level players as good role players make or break a great team. DD
i already knew this would be a bigot racist overtone thread. its the stupidity this country only knows these days. Clutch needs to take more action on hate threads or his silence will make him complicit and enabling to this garbage. Dmo is a role player with decent offense, nothing more, nothing less. Morey and the coaching staff is to blame more than anything for letting the coddled star get away with murder. Know where to apropriate your venom remedial.
