    This is silly.

One got us to the WCF Finals twice and wins a ring against a team better than MJ ever beat if CP3 doesn’t hurt his hammy. While the other never got us out of the 1st round (while actually playing).

    Don’t make lazy false equivalencies.

They are both behind Hakeem of course but Harden is going to go down as one of the greatest Rockets players to play, top 5 Rocket players for a long time until someone better comes along.

Harden has accomplished almost everything a basketball player can accomplish, other than defensive awards of course, and a championship.

Tmac hasn't accomplished half of what Harden has...plus this run where Harden has almost won 2-3 MVP awards against the likes of Lebron and Curry?

People are just being dramatic and still bitter about the playoff losses. When he retires they will miss his greatness.

While this is true, Houston also never got McGrady in his 'real' prime. Orlando was lucky but they were injury riddled as well.

One of the players that had their prime with age 23-24.

In the mean time Harden gave his best years to Houston. > Longevity.

I am not trying to get into the who is better convo because that is clear, who got the better career.

I think he was average in mental toughness opposed to what others would say.

Mac's injuries and wrong workout did most of the damage while his body was a tad fragile as well.
