also looks like Vspan had an assist/turnover ratio of .5 ... Eliyahu didn't have a great night though.
Man, are they going to play against each other back-to-back, twice within the same day? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=3104797&postcount=10 I think the OP was pretty late about this news........ IBTL
Who is this Spanoulis V. who shoot 6/8 from 2pt and 2/4 from 3pt range? Is he related to the Vspan we know who can't shoot in the Rockets?
Well it's amazing what a bit of freedom and a understanding coach will do. Span was under pressure rom gundy who never liked him from day 1. it surely effected he's play. Anyhow, the biggest contribution he made was netting us luis scola. scola and butler will go down as one of the biggest steals in the last 10 years. book it.
Isrealies are no joke. outside of italy and spain, they have best league in europe. there national team is pretty good. anyhow i'm just glad all the conterversy regarding sovlaki boy is done and over with.
No the Israeli league isn't that good. it's just that Maccabi Tel Aviv is so powerful right now that they can buy whatever foreign talent that they want. Good domestic players are still a rarity there unlike say Greece or Spain where the some of the best players are actually Greek or Spanish. Maccabi Tel Aviv is one of the best Euroleague teams but the overall Israeli league really isn't that great right now.
Scola (a better player at a position of utmost need) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> V-Span (the Spartan who does die at the end)
Damn, 6/8? It must have been mostly layups because there is no way in hell he shots that well with his broke jump shot. At least not in the NBA, maybe in those barn leagues.
