Believe or not, its actually a new old story. His first case was dropped in Florida. Then, another state, Georgia, picked it up.

Dwight always getting his ass in trouble. No wonder he's not focused in dominating the game.

Is this case in Georgia about the same child?

Wonder if this thread will get locked like mine. Anyway, I had a bad feeling this story wouldn't go quietly into the night.

They were talking about this on the radio this morning. Kind of a bummer that Dwight takes so many hits to his reputation when he seems like such a great guy. Hopefully these allegations are overblown, and/or false.

Will TheMystery008 realize his misunderstanding? The case was dropped in Arizona and as of now he is officially under Criminal Investigation in Georgia. Before the story was just about how Dwight got away with child abuse. Now he is actually being investigated for it.

In other news: You are no longer allowed to spank your child, all punishments will consist of a 'timeout' to be no longer than 4.2 minutes per offense.

I think saying you spanked your child when misbehaving is now criminal child abuse is ridiculous.

Actually he said he did it (whipped his kid with a belt) but he said he didn't realize there was anything wrong because that's how he was raised. A lot of us were raised that way. If disciplining your child with a belt was a crime then you would have to incriminate just about every parent from the 70's.

if child abuse is kicking his kid's behind in a game of xbox1, then he's guilty.
i just have a hard time believing that a guy that smiles while attempting a hookshot will cause physical harm to a kid. howard is a kid. this is just some baby momma upset.

but please dwight, hit your free throws.

I mean, he admits to having hit him with a belt. I know this can be a controversial topic, but my dad whipped me with a belt from the time I was a little girl until maybe 12 or so. And I personally think my dad was the best dad ever. LOL.

If I recall correctly, Royce didn't make this an issue until after Dwight filed for custody of their son. ETA: These two have been engaging in petty back and forths forever. This is the same one he served with a gag order so that she wasn't even allowed to speak his name on that Basketball Wives show. She could only say she had a child with "an NBA player."
