[TMZ][9news] Birdman House Searched for Kiddie p*rn

    The home of Denver Nuggets star Chris Andersen -- aka The Birdman -- is being investigated by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force in Colorado ... TMZ has learned.

    Law enforcement tells TMZ ... the Douglas County Sheriff's Dept. received a tip from a California law enforcement agency back in February ... and finally searched Andersen's home early this morning. We're told officials seized property from the residence during the search.

    We're told Andersen has not been arrested -- or charged with a crime.

    Chris' attorney had no comment.

    Douglass County Sheriff's Dept just issued another statement:

    "We weren't going to search Chris Andersen's house today, but it has been really boring at our Hangout lately."

    They knew about it in February, but they are doing the search during the playoffs when the Lakers are only up 3-2. Sounds suspicious.

    nowhere in the article does it say he is is being investigated for child p*rn. the thread title is misleading. stop jumping to conclusions.

    Child p*rnography is certainly implied due to who is searched his house. When the Department of Internet Crimes Against Children is investigating you, it's related to Internet luring, child predators and child p*rnography.

    The Nuggets cut him loose because they don't want to touch this with a ten foot pole. When he was just shooting everything under the sun up, they were cool with him being an offbeat kind of guy, but this is toxic.

    It's a shame if it's true, but this does not look good. You would think his lawyer would be shouting in every microphone "my client is not a child predator."

    Instead we get "At this time, I respect the process and I have no further comment to protect the integrity of everyone involved. We'll proceed from there." That sounds like a lawyer who's got a client with solid evidence against them.

    If it is true, I hope the b*stard gets a long time in jail.

    His computers and properties were seized by the police and investigated by the Internet Crime Against Children task force.

    Yeah it had nothing to do with child p*rn, the ICAC is searching his house for not paying a parking ticket.
