Throughout the game last night, I kept wanting to see TMo come into the game. It seems like our defense was pretty porous last night, and he seems to help out our defense. Also, he's shooting 45% for the year, which I think is fine. His 3-pt percentage is horrible, but he doesn't take a lot of those (8 for the year). Last year his FG% was low, so he was a liability, but this year it seems like he's doing everything (except aforementioned 3 pt %) well. Still, he can't get consistent minutes. Over the last 5 games, he's played 22,16,3,21,1. He doesn't hog the ball and with Steve and Cat shooting the 3 well, we really don't need Rice in there. He would seem to be a perfect compliment to the backcourt, and a help to our chemistry. I haven't seen that he's hurt, so what's going on?

I'm with you. I'd think Rudyandco are too embarrassed to admit Rice is a 9mil bench player. But then, they're not too embarrassed to sit MoT down! Then there's Snackbar's ego in there, too. And Kenny. There's a lot of player contract and emotional crap getting in the way, right now. Tmo is the best option sometimes, but can't get a snif. When in, he's been effective, esp teamed with Griffin for a tall, strong, defensive line up. He catches and finishes at the hole and on the break well, when teamed with Francis, and is big enough and humble enough to pass the ball to better players when it's not a good shot.

I was wondering where TMo was too. It seemed that he would have been a much better defensive selection late in regulation last nite.
Would also have liked to have seen Boki sometime in the first half when it was close...just to see how he performs when it has a chance to mean something.

I can understand Boki a little because Rudy doesn't like to play rookies (Yao wouldn't be playing near this many minutes if he hadn't acclimated so fast). But TMo's paid his dues and his biggest asset (defense) might have been our biggest problem last night.
