Maybe because we are on a Rockets message board where Rockets fans tend to overvalue their players and perhaps unfairly compare them to other all time greats. This shouldn't be taken seriously, and is part of being a fanatic. It's harmless and called being a homer. What I find much more odd than that is obsessing over one singular player like he stole your girlfriend or something. It happens with Lin, T-Mac, Parsons. T-Mac had his shortcomings and is no means perfect but he is human. He is still one of the Rocket's all time greats, so if your not going to at least respect that then maybe you should just let him go. I'm no psychologist, but I'm pretty sure it can't be healthy to chronically spit venom at a player from the past that doesn't know you exist.
Your entire comment has a flip side that includes all the t-mac fans as well. It's really quite funny. And the entire world of sports consists of grown men arguing over which millionaire athlete who doesn't know they exist is better...
Like my interweb life depended on some comment that Tmac 'might be' arguably better at an earlier time than the best player right now.
What rockets fans think he's better than the lebron? Not a single one. In fact, a rockets fan would have dumped 10 tmacs for 1 lebron. The only people belittling other players including rockets like yao ming are tofs. The only reason this upsets you is because you are one of them
Did someone mention Rudy Gay? Because this is one of my favorite plays in the history of basketball <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/BM9LMv4mCpk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> lol
tof? Lol, I'm pretty sure that doesn't exist. No Rockets fans should believe T-Mac is better then Lebron, but on a Rockets message board there is bound to be some fanatical claims.
Dude tofs exist , who do you think called james harden a fraud and implied tmac was a better leader in that thread in the garm? I can easily pull up 50 threads created by tofs.
Hey Torpon, do you mean the team that had the same record as the Rox and beat the Spurs and the media was picking to win it all?
Lebron - 8 NBA Finals as a starter in 14 years Tracy Mcgrady - 0 playoff series victories as a starter in 16 seasons
So you are answering to the 2015 version of daywalker. Very nice and reasonable. I am the 2017 version and the future.
Year doesn't matter, individual level has nothing to do with Finals appearances or championships. But I guess Adam Morrison is better than McGrady, Barkley, Stockton etc, according to tinmac's great logic.
Barkley led the Suns to the NBA finals to 6 games. McGrady never did that and doesn't belong next to Barkley. Barkley also won an MVP and Olympics gold. And Barkley is a much better NBA Analyst. Tmac is on the crap show on ESPN.
