Titans fire Ken Whisenhunt

Titans fans at the game Sunday weren't pleased. Chuck Pagano is feeling the heat in Indy too. Personally I'd fire Bill O'Brien and Rick Smith if I had the keys. We need to clean house and rebuild while the division is down. The team that gets it right can run the division for 7-10 years, need the right coach and talent.

 

The team was garbage, but seems headed in the right direction. Blowing the games against the Falcons, Bills, & Colts were rough blows, and they've been without Mariota, which hurts.

The Titans could be a great job to get.

 

Titans should fire their GM as well. They got no QB. They got no OL. Hard to win in The NFL without those two.

 

3- 20? Wtf? He's the example of career coordinator. Bring him here and only have him focus on offense and he'd whip Godsey's ass

 

They had to do something. 3-20 is just not acceptable.

In particular, I pin the loss to Indy on Wiz. He choked and tried to run out the clock as soon as the 4th quarter started (I exaggerate only slightly). The whole tenor of the game changed when the Titans went conservative and his players got tight with him.

 

I said it before; all the coaches in this division can potentially be fired this year. 1 down, 3 to go

 

I'm shocked the Titans were able to win 3 games with that garbage roster.

 

To be fair, the Titans's defense is stout.

He came within seconds of winning a Super Bowl as a head coach. His teams have been fine when he has a QB.

 

Lose to the Texans. Get fired.

 

Not sure about the QB comment but their OL is absolutely terrible.

 

Any team is pretty good when they have a great QB. I think Kurt Warner is greatly under rated.

 

Fire the whole division, please. I cant take 6 games a year of this **** anymore.

 

I'm starting to wonder how much knowledge do these "professional" front offices in the NFL really have?

Have you seen the Colts this season?

Successful coach and great QB frequently go together. At that time, Warner was actually just a veteran backup. Turned out he had plenty of great play left.

 

In restrospect, about the same thing could be said about the Texans, though the Texans QB and OL have performed better than the Titans's.

 

I think Mariota can be a franchise QB but the OL and weapons around him are at least bottom 5 in the league.

Their defense is pretty good, but collapses every now and then.
