I imagine they sell for 2.5-3 billion we have a championship contender. Tillman could buy majority for 2 billion and another investor puts in 500 million

i still don't see any valid reasoning at Tilman being a bad owner. all the posts I've seen are all based on assumptions as if you know exactly who he is personally

McNair seemed to like Partnering with him so I can assume he's not to bad to work with.

I heard a disappointing story where this ego maniac fired a young wait staff because she told him she would be unable to serve him because the restaurant was closed and it was 15 minutes after closing time. She didn't recognize him, but what difference did that make. His ego is going to clash with Morey for sure.

Uhh she deserved to be fired. Any sane business owner would have done the same.

Only bad things I can tell you is that Tilman is very outspoken to the media and can be very demanding.

The good thing I can say is that he wants to win.... and he would do what he can to win.

I personally can deal with that.... what I don't want is an indifferent owner that will surround himself with uninspiring people...... kind of like rgw Texans.

Possibly the best possible owner so far. He loves Houston and the Rockets.

I don't want a "personality". I want just a pure money guy that lets Morey run everything just like Les.

    Another fun Tilman story:

Tilman walks into a Mercedes dealership after working out. Still in his workout clothes, one of the workers there on the floor tells Tilman that he doesn't think the cars are in Tilman's price range and that Tilman should come back when he's wearing nicer clothes (or something along those lines). Tilman calmly walks out of the place. The next day, he comes back, still in workout clothes, and says, "I've just bought this dealership, and you're fired."

    Sounds fake, but it's true.

No to Fertitta. This is the guy who ruined Kemah and is working hard to ruin Galveston. No thank you!

Les never was a pure money guy and he was deeply involved in the direction of the Rockets.

Alexander stepped into the Rockets mess before last off season and said he was pissed, and then hired the coach he wanted, told his GM to spend the money and that it wasn't acceptable..... he them rewarded his GM when we have a good year.

For as irrational as Les can be sometimes, more often than not he has exerted positive leadership.
