Now they go into their Aldridge meeting with ammunition: they have the $ outright to sign him to a max deal. I think this one is inevitable.
Damn, RC Buford is blazing... PG: Parker, Mills SG: Green, Manu SF: Leonard, who cares PF: LMA, Diaw C: Duncan, Baynes In the Spurs system with Pops, that's legit

Leonard Duncan Leonard front line is pretty formidable. I think they might be the favorites going into next year. When will they go away?
i wouldn't either, but is there no other way to free up cap space w/o trading ariza? also, never mind that. carroll is going to the raptors, which means hawks should be able to retain millsap

I thought the Hawks only had early bird rights on Milsap. Can they really go to $20MM to retain him now that Splitter is being absorbed into the cap or did Carroll bolting help?

I found this article pretty helpful in understanding the cap machinations Buford has to go through to get Aldridge. In light of the article, the Splitter deal and the deals for Leonard and Green make a lot of sense. They'll have to do something with Ginobili and Duncan to finish it off, but it sure is feeling inevitable to me right now that LMA will land in San Antonio. http://www.sbnation.com/2015/6/30/8...alary-cap-lamarcus-aldridge-free-agent-rumors Leonard might get tired though playing center and small forward at the same time.
