Is there any chance that we'll actually be able to go through a season when Fish will quit on a team for "family reasons" and not have him return to play for somebody? If that actually happened, it would make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Why? Because I wouldn't have to see him on an NBA court, that's why.
He actually helped stabilise the OKC offense last season but his defense was disgustingly bad. Not that it would matter too much if he could just hide on the weakest perimeter player against a team like the Spurs who like to have someone camping at the weakside corner three. It's funny that they've been in negotiations to re-sign him, obviously Westbrook's BBIQ just ain't cutting it.
Despicable human being. Using "family reasons" to bail out on teams. One of the biggest cheaters on the court as well.
What made Fisher last so long in this league anyway? Even when he was starting for the Lakers last decade, he wasn't anything special. Maybe a good 3pt shooter, but that's it.
Fisher is the ultimate jock sniffer...forget going with his buddy kobe...he chose Durant once again...what a ______
He hit a few clutch shots, he was set for life. Robert Horry wasn't very good at the end of his career either, but come playoff time man did he suddenly turn it on. I'm still shocked at how different regular season Horry and Playoff Horry was at the end of his career. Like night and day.
Over dramatic much? I'm no fan of his. Can't stand him as a player at all. Despise him as a player even moreso with his reaction to being traded to the Rockets. But we all know that his children have had health issues in the past. Do you know for sure he made up his reasons to walk away from the Mavs? No. And since when are we going to bash a player for not wanting to play for dallas?
