During all of this debate about Steve and Tmac, and Yao etc...I thought it might be interesting to take a poll about the Throwback jereseys the Rocks have worn the last 2 nights. Personally, I think they are WAY better than the regular jerseys. Anyone else like them or dislike them? DD
I like the style, but not the colors. When we heard talk about getting some simple and classic looking new jerseys, I assumed it would be something like these throwbacks, with a more modern look of course.
I like em' a lot better, actually. The Bulls, Lakers, and Celtics stuck to their old jerseys, and they still look pretty nice to me. I think the Rockets should go throwback, instead of such a complicated jersey like the ones we have now.
LOL...funny. But not in this case. When it comes to jerseys, I prefer the newer, sleeker look of the current ones. You're how old again, DaDa?
Man, I freakin' HATE the ketchup and mustard colors. The uni style is nice, but those colors are hideous unless they are on your hot dog. The best part about the throwback unis is that they say HOUSTON on the front instead of ROCKETS.
I like the throwback uniforms much more than the current ones. Our current uniforms don't have much character, although they are a huge improvement over the clown costumes we wore before. I know a lot of people don't like the Ketchup and Mustard color scheme, but that is our history. We should embrace it! I agree that the best thing about our throwback Uniforms is having HOUSTON on the front.
I'm with coma. Bring back the championship jerseys. The current one's are OK (certainly better than those GOD AWFUL PJ's) but they are a little boring, especially the home uni's. BRING BACK THE CHAMPIONSHIP JERSEYS. Seeing T-Mac in one of those jerseys might actually give me wood....
Is there 2 different shades of gold on the throwbacks? (Houston and on the shorts) I like the new ones. I think there is a little to much gold on the shorts. picture in this thread http://bbs2.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=90088
Unfortunatly I am 40.....but growing younger every day...got to hit that mid life crisis running don't ya know. DD
Here's a rare chance to do a single post to answer two thread questions (since my wife never reads this forum): I like new things...new uniforms, from the 20-30 year old age range. (In case she does read this...It's a joke honey!)
