During the final 5 minutes against GS, Capela can't make free throw, no midrange, no defense, not playable......

Rim-protector Clint Capela had a career year with averages of 16.6 points, 12.7 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, and 64.8 percent shooting. However, all those numbers dipped in the postseason, especially in the Golden State series, when he averaged 8.8 points per game.

whatever you can do to get them, include Shumpert, Green, S&T, .......
    Stretch Big Man:
    Blake Griffin
    Kevin Love
    Marcus Morris
    Nikola Mirotić
    Ja Green
    Al Horford
    Tobias Harris
    Brook Lopex
    AD
    KAT
    Paul Milsap
    and many others.

I think, more than a shooting stretch big, the need is for a forward who can create for others. Ideally it'd be someone who can do both, but playmaking is more important as a relief valve for Harden traps.

Griffin's game would be a nice fit, but both his value and salary are a lot more than Capela's.

Houston should trade Clint to New Orleans for Zion, just like it says in the Bible

"For they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion" (Isaiah 52:8, King James version)

Myers Leonard looked pretty good in game 4 against the Warriors.

Bear in mind, while it's fun to look at Capela's horrid offensive numbers and inability to make a layup, the underlying reason he is played out of the game against GSW, imo, is because of defense, and the fact that he's switching so much, which is really freaking hard for a guy like him to do, and it messes with his head on the other side, etc. That being said:

Love, Mirotic, Horford, Lopez = no defense. might still make the move cause if Capela is "useless" against GSW, he's useless.

I believe Milsap is a FA and even if he wanted to come to HOU, why would Denver want Capela back in a S&T.

Griffin you would for sure do, though his defense isn't great. Why would Detroit want Capela when they have Drummond?

    AD and KAT... lol.

Horford is interesting in that I can see Ainge wanting to do that, but Al makes $29 million, so you'd have to include more outgoing salary like an EG, and then it seems oto much.

Tobias Harris would have to be a S&T... and given how awful Philly looked every time Embiid sat, I could actually see this as a possibility. Now he's not great defensively, and for some reason when not the primary scorer, his 3 point % cratered in Philly - though still able to hit 33%... but this is absolutely something I would explore. But again, would Tobias take a salary that is low enough to get S&T for Capela who is getting like $15 million a year? Probably not. Capela + Nene (if he chooses to play his final year at $3.8 million and that's not a given, he's mentioned retirement) would be $18.6 million outgoing salary. I'm not sure the rules. What could you get back - 125% of that? Which is $23.25 million. Add in Gary Clark who's $1.4 million at 125% would increase that total salary to $25 million. That kind of makes sense to me. Capela+Nene+Clark and a future pick for Tobias Harris at $25 million starting salary...??

Of course you could make it easier and just do Capela+EG for S&T Tobias Harris. From Philly's perspective EG replaces Redick, who is a FA, and makes it a more attractive deal for them for sure.

Is that too much to give up? Can you get more than Tobias Harris for Capela+EG. Especially since Tobias isn't a great defender or rebounder himself. Etc.

For all the talk of Butler, to me, the 76ers are better keeping Butler and letting Harris walk.

Big likes Big, Shaq doesn't like small guys. He takes Gianna over Harden.

Paul is not tradable now, but ....
After Lakers overpay Butler or Irving, I'd ask Chris Paul to play for Lakers next January.

Bobby Portis is literally Clint Capela with a three point shot (39%).

He has a mean attitude, which I like. Figure out a way to get him.
