Yeah I wish I could live more in the moment. But I am more so digging in to the comments where Hop mentioned Brock was doing the "best that he can".

Braddock's tweets basically exposed two TD's that Brock could have thrown had he scanned the field.

I think Osweiler has a chance to be the guy, but our offensive line doesn't really instill confidence to hold on to the ball too long.

seems like all the people that freaked out after the one quarter in preseason game one are back out in full zombie attack mode.

As of now, Brock sucks until proven otherwise. Can't read defenses, can't go thru progressions, and locks into one receiver. Blame Smith for that garbage. What GM in their right mind would hire a QB without REAL conversations (according to BoB) with the HC? That incompetent mentality is the same one that played Watt too early.

We could've had Garapolo instead of Filo. Think about that.

    #32 Houston (dead LAST)

#1 Oakland (that Carr kid over there)

Positive outlook is Texans have nowhere to go but up and figure to go up. There's some talent on offense, and Texans have done more with worse before. And the skill positions have young players. Braxton Miller is the #3 receiver and he's a ROOKIE converted QB, playing behind a ROOKIE #2, AHEAD of an inexperienced 2nd year #4.

Negative is the same as usual, scrutiny is extra heavy to dump on any Texans failures because of the Osweiler story line and contract, AND that his addition IS supposed to bring more than what journeyman QB's have done.

Bottom line is the offense isn't getting it done regardless of opponent and circumstance, and the microscope rightfully has to be applied on a NON-rebuilding team.

He is very snarky at times. I like the attitude. Its funny seeing him on the sidelines getting after the coaches.

It isn't funny when he plays like CHIT against the Patriots on national TV though.

Ryan Mallet has the tools too. Heck he might have even better tools.

Believe me I'm not very optimistic, but at least he's a lot more accurate than Mallet, can throw a good deep ball and knows how to operate an alarm clock and Google maps.

gotta give Brock (and Lamar Miller) more than three weeks to learn this offense

I think Pat Star speculated that maybe the reason Miller was getting so many reps was coaches felt it was essentially the only way for him to learn and get comfortable

Too frequently just makes a really bad decision and gets wild with his accuracy

I want to say give him time for the o line to come back and be healthy but there were some really bad throws and decisions
