Please lock my "Market for Beverley" thread. He is untradable. His energy and hustle (not to mention his shooting skills) are essential to this team.

Having said that this, team with him, Lin, Parsons, Howard, Garcia (and of course) Harden can be something great.

Harden is a superstar. Howard is much better than last year. Lin and Howard mesh. Bev is great.

Our PG tandem and combo back court will destroy any other team's INCLUDING the Thunder.

It's clear the team meshes and gets that everyone including Lin, Harden, Parsons and Howard need to play their "roles" regardless of ego. This includes Lin/Bev starting based on matchups, and most likely Lin sitting out the end of games.

Harden will always take the last shot.

I don't see Morey doing much at all to destroy this team's clear amazing chemistry. This means making Lin, Bev, OR Parsons ALL untradable.

The one big thing we have found out is that Asik and Howard prob can't work together. But even Asik might have a role on this team and I am only judging after 1 preseason game back.

If McHale can avoid some of the head scratching decisions of last year, I believe this team has a very good chance of getting to the WCF.

    BELIEVE. This is THE team.

I think at this point, we just have to trust Morey. He put this lineup together, and he's not going to make any moves unless he thinks it'll make the team better suited to winning.

Tough to tell in the pre-season.

I like the optimism, but let's wait to make these threads for later.

I agree completely , but like others have said I don't think this needs it's own thread. That being said , there are so many trade so and so topics its nice to have one that recognizes that this team as constructed has incredible potential and we should be in no rush to make moves .

I like the versatility in starting the twin towers, then using parsons or casspi as a backup 4 and going small.

if they work out the kinks in the offense when both centers play at the same time, and figure out how to get the ball to dwight in the post, they'll be contenders

I now believe the only thing separating us from rings is Dwight's ability not to meltdown.

    Also Caaspi is sucking

Besides that our team could yield dynasties

No team will ever win a championship with Casspi playing a significant role.

How about we focus just on one at a time? :)

    Doesn't matter.

Our team is deep and we need that in the regular season.

Obviously we would trade Patrick Beverley in the right deal.

If Miami said "Bosh for Asik + Bev" you honestly wouldn't do it?

    Don't be stupid.

Beverley is a nice roleplayer but that's all. He isn't an untouchable piece like Harden/Howard.

I take it back, this team can jell.

    Especially with Asik and Casspi.

The only thing I could conclude regarding Asik + Howard in that game was just that Asik is really rusty.

Anyone that expected that combination to work the first time out, especially after not getting almost any time to practice it because of injury is delusional.

One thing I wanted to mention regarding how these guys mesh together... Parsons is far better at lobbing the ball to Dwight than Harden/Lin. Harden in particular is in love with the bounce pass and is taking his time to adapt.
