This is the Year Capela Becomes a Superstar

    Yeah, credit JJJ.

    Maybe I didn't make it clear in my post, I mean on the defensive end only. I like what he's showing on offense. I think he's proving he definitely has the stamina to play Offense and Run for the extended minutes he's playing this year; that's why I have confidence his conditioning will improve throughout the year.

    My theory is that by playing 6-7 more minutes he still gets a little winded and can't jump as much to contest on defense, as when he played less minutes. (Some type of Jumps per Minute stat would help the theory). But I'm thinking that also because I hope it isn't a timing issue that you mention ... as I feel that would be less fixable.

    I agree with the stamina part. BUT.....we see lapses not just in the 4th when he has burned minutes....but also in the 1st. He shouldn't be tired in the 1st.

    JJJ spends half of his time standing at the 3 point line and does not have the defensive or rebounding responsibilities of capela.

    Not remotely comparable.

    No one is making comparisons between the two. I posted that clip to illustrate Capela not finishing quickly.
