[The Wire] Snoop arrested in Baltimore drug bust

    "Felicia Pearson, the actress who played drug assassin Snoop on HBO’s “The Wire,” was one of 60-plus people arrested in and around Baltimore this morning, the result of five-month investigation into a large-scale heroin and mar1juana operation."

    The Wire is one of my favorite shows of all time. For snoop to be arrested in a drug bust, in Baltimore, is trippy-er than this Charlie Sheen stuff.

    Not really surprising. Before The Wire she served two 8 year terms for 2nd degree murder. She really was living the life.

    Man I wish. A lot of people say it's good that they ended it before it got "stale". To me, I'll watch that series till it gets just completely ridiculous. I don't care if they bring back Omar as a ghost, I just want another season.

    Snoop was probably one of the best characters on The Wire. Maybe it's because she really is like her character. Her acting (or is it) was done right down to the tee. Not usually scared of girls, but if I ran into her on the streets, I wouldn't make eye contact. Sad thing is, she was being somewhat of a positive role model by going back to prison and talking to the youngsters about changing their life.

    I'm in Baltimore now. I was trying to figure out why the police had blocked off sections of the street as of last night. I guess they were conducting those raids.
