This is like game 7 against the Cavs all over again. When the game is close, things aren't coming easy, the opponent isn't backing down, and time is running out, the Warriors struggle. Meanwhile we've been forged in situations like this in the regular season, and beat the Warriors in games like this.
Nah they are. We just played extremely good defense. Harden included. He needs to do that every game. It helps teammates a lot too.
Warriors are a bunch of frontrunning betas. If they can't beat an opponent down, they'll panic under the pressure.
Shut up! They're the Greatest Team That Ever Existed in This Universe or Any Other™ and they can't make mistakes EVER!

The reason the Rockets were so tough to beat is their ability to win games in different ways. Primary weapon of choice is the mathmattack strategy; i.e; 3 > 2. The other way is the gritty way. Defensively. Tucker has been the mvp the past two wins. The Rockets have held GS to under 100 points two VERY meaningful games in a row. Those gritty wins earlier in the season where the offense was not clicking helped this team’s character and self-awareness so much. GS hasn’t had to do that with their stars. They elected to rest.
They also are not CRUSHING the Rockets in the 3rd .. . and if they do . . the Rockets don't quit Rocket River
they never really play in crunch time. usually its like a 10 point win. we're the best in the league this season in crunch time.
They are jump shooting cowards. That's why they stack all the best shooters and All stars on that team. To hold a huge advantage over everyone else. Because deep down inside they all know they are cowards. Get physical with them like the ROckets are and they get shook. I am just surprised the ROckets have been able to maintain this crazy defensive intensity for two games in a row. Absolutely insane.
2 games in a row of playing grinding D against the Worriers is spectacular. Rockets broke the trend and narrative of the Worriers always bouncing back after 1 loss.
Really the only Worrier I would deem a coward is KD. The other guys were on the team from the beginning. I despise all of them, but KD distinctly differentiates from the rest.
If anything, the rest of the league has seen that the anti-Warriors scheme really does work, and the Rockets have given the Warriors absolute hell even with a 7 man rotation that includes the formerly "unwanted by the NBA" Gerald Green. To be in this position is absolutely nuts regardless of what happens.
and don't forget. We beat them twice in crunch time during the regular season, too. Did anyone else catch Kerr's confused explanation of the last play. Does he really remember it that poorly, thinking Curry was "maybe open" in the corner ("I'll have to watch again"), when the play was for them to get Curry the ball off the inbounds and Klay ahead in the corner. Curry threw ahead to Green. No one was passed the top of the arc except Green and Klay. I mean, it's OK if a player or analyst is confused about what happened, but Kerr just called a timeout and designed that play...he's the coach of the play. Oh....and that's two missed layups by Curry in crunch time. Both were the 2nd to last play. (not counting the .5 prayer play).
