If Dwight Howard and Melo could, I dont see why Westbrick couldn't.

Im pumped for this season! Morey has already made the pre-season epic. I haven't been this pumped since 96/97 season.

he needs to realize there's no shame in taking all his shots in the paint and not taking any jumpers

We got Westi to be Westbrook. Super aggressive and a monster at attacking the rim with the ability to push the pace

Lol he has never in his life been as good as Ben Simmons in the paint. Simmons has really soft touch as well. He’s skilled at the rim and not just athletic.

What? He is going to work on his shot?

    I mean he can't shoot.

Cool article. Worried about this season, but I really want to believe he can adjust to a point where it's enough to get us a high seed and then in the Playoffs anything can happen when you have Harden and a more in control Russ.

I actually believe thta he wants to change and knows some of his weaknesses when he away from the action.

But I also feel that he cannot change and that is because of who he is and how he plays.

He is a low IQ fiery, competitive, and impulsive player that gets caught in the moment.

Which is why he will always push the issue and take ill advised shots even though he might not want to. His personality will make sure he does.

It was the same with Vernon Maxwell.

The same traits that make them good also make them hurt your team.

You cant neuter one without the other.

    Morey be Tweet Gawd.

Russ saying this as a 21 yr old would be more convincing.

"There’s a difference between changing how you play and changing who you are. That’s what Westbrook is trying to figure out — and it’s the biggest challenge of his career."

    Interesting quote.

It could apply to Harden as well imo.

Play off the ball more and get some more catch and shoot 3s.

Rockets: "We don't want Westbrook to *change.* We are not trying to *change* Westbrook."
Rockets: "We want Westbrook to *grow*"

*Grow* is the approved buzzword over *change.*

Didn't read but very little will change. Not Mike, not James, not Russell.
