right now he's not a bad backup and plays with great energy. with that said it's insane how much he fouls. if he cut down on the fouls and developed a more consistent jumper he might be able to take over Toney Douglas spot

He had a tougher game today, going against the best PG and arguably the best backup PG. I'd like to see him attack more and pick his spots better, but still, he brings a lot of good to the table. We don't have anyone with his speed/ball-handling ability on this roster.

May I bump this thread for scoutbadlee?

Sounds like 'scout badly' if you ask me ...

Beverley has a worst jump-shot than Lin...

He'll be a good backup PG though.

Glad you didn't take it too badly ...

And I like Beverley too actually! Just needs more experience and for the NBA game to slow down to him. Love his energy. Another good Morey pick-up.

Maybe Jeremy should come off the bench tonight. It is time that Beverley got to start. I just like how the team plays when he is on the court. No disrespect to Lin, but he is just not as good a defender as Beverley.

you know you love your backup point guard when you hear that your starter may be out for tonight's game, and you find yourself not caring.

He's actually a Rookie Only Fan.

Beverley has been playing great for the Rockets. I know his penchant for going for offensive boards drives the coaching staff crazy. There is a reason it was so easy for Douglas to be traded.
