This season is over and I am looking forward to next year already. This time last year I was so excited about the chance of getting Bush but management had other plans. Every post that I see about the Texans is very negative (understandable). But, I see hope for our terrible team. We have Mario Williams, who is going to be a pro bowler very soon. We have Damico Ryans , who is going to be a SUPERSTAR! And, we have Robison who is one of the better young CB’s in the NFL. Our defense has the potential to be one of the best in league very soon. I hope that we are wise with our top pick this year and draft another solid piece. The offense has looked better at times but still looks clueless. We have a long way to go but their will be light at the other side of the tunnel.
The Texans need to draft Thomas, the O-lineman from Wisconsin. He will be the anchor of the O-line for the next 15-20 years. Having a Bruce Matthews or Mike Munchak type of player is what the Texans need, imo.

On 790am C.P. was just saying Casserly said during the 05 draft that Jamal Brown wouldnt be a good LT in the nfl and thats why he passed on him and took Travis Johnson............Jamal Brown (Saints) made the probowl this season. Womp Womp!!
In hindsight, that is exactly who the Texans should have taken in that draft. Of course since Casserly didn't think he could play LT, that explains a lot about that draft and why the line has been terrible from the get go. Hopefully Kubiak can remedy that.
We should not have traded down. We should have taken Derrick Johnson. I don't see how it's better to draft defensive lineman and turn him into linebacker to fit a 3-4 as oppose to drafting actual linebackers and make them adapt to the system
Does this not apply to at least 27 or 28 other teams in the league? A few good players, the potential to be good?

i'm excited about next yr too, can't wait til the draft and see what they do, i'm all for giving Carr atleast 1 more yr, and see if he progresses at all under Kubiak....the firist few seasons under capers was a wash....so let's give him one more season..... if not, i wonder if the texans will go after Brady Quinn, but hopefully they'll go after A. Peterson, trade D.Davis for a 2/3rd rd pick and maybe sign some free agents... i think next's yr's OLine will be fine once healthy....Spencer, Pitts, Flanagan, Mckinney/Weary and Weigert/Winston.. I also like to see them pick up another CB...a TALLER ONE! ... i think all ours are under 6' ....
Robinson is overrated in Houston. Mario Williams is or will bust, whatever you think. Demeco Ryans is a stud. Carr is garbage. Bring in a new QB.. PLEASE. The team sucks cause the QB sucks, nobody will ever believe in this team if Carr keeps playing, I don't see how anyone can have faith in this guy anymore. Should of skipped on Carr and drafted Peppers. All and all, the Texans organization has never impressed me, Dom Capers? David Carr? Mario Williams as our #1 pick over Reggie and Vince? We have no future, we play in the AFC and every team in our division is better than us or on the rise.
