This. The Harden led Rockets have a tendency to resort to hero ball/sticky ball when they panic.

As I've been saying, it's not the philosophy but the execution of our offensive system.

 

If Harden attacks early in the shot clock, we will win this series.

 

I really feel the Rockets are the better team. If we do as you say and play smart on offense with ball movement and few turnovers we should be good. When the pressure is on they tend to force things and get frustrated. Just start the offense early, get the defense chasing and make the extra pass. Combined with solid D of course.

It may be 2-2 but Rockets have been better even considering the refs points for Spurs

 

Game 3 is the pace the Spurs want to play at, game 4 is the pace the Rockets want to play at. Lower scoring grindfests favor the Spurs, high scoring shoot outs will favor us.

The Rockets dictated the pace tonight by making 3's which caused the Spurs to get impatient on offense like they did in game 1. It's been said all year long on these forums, the Rockets live and die by the 3 and that hasn't changed much. If we shoot 40% or better from three point land we can beat anyone, even Golden State.
