There are still several things wrong with this article.

Overall the point is valid. But, no indication that Rivers wasn't available in game one (except one snipe, later). House has really let us down and we've made a conscious decision to not play Faried, who would be taking what's happening to Capela and multiplying it. There's no reason to think this will stay the same all series long.

This is being taken out of stats context and just made into a full blown narrative now, with Harden and Durant having very similar stats (and Durant a 7 footer who isn't playing against 4 all-stars). I disagree with the premise that games 1 and 2 have in any way relegated Harden to a derogatory "second best" status.

If Harden's "role players" are Chris Paul and Clint Capela, Durant's are Steph Curry and Klay Thompson...

Setting aside that this is just worship, and not analysis, I disagree that Durant has been the reason that Capela is stifled. It's Green. And also... Capela.

When the Rebounding analysis happens, no mention of the lack of boxing out by the guards and wings when Capela is roaming. I'm convinced that we would've cut their offensive rebounds in half by just putting a body on their wide open forwards.

Finally, no mention of the fouled 3 pointers in game 1 taking away far more points than the spread (and causing the Chris Paul ejection).

The series outlook would be a lot different if game 1 wasn't rigged.

What's wrong is Rox don't have 4 future HOFs in their prime like the worriers do. KD joining ended any hope of parity at a championship level. It's as simple as that.

    It's not that simple

KD plus heavily biased officiating with emphasis on HEAVILY

Yea but you don't think that 4 HOFs in their prime don't get the benefit of the doubt (despite the whining) from refs? It all starts and ends with 4 HOFs in their prime. That and CP3 has an ongoing feud with Referees due to his personality and his position as PA President. It's a perfect storm.

    Dramatic are we?

The Rockets lost on the road by 4 in game one when the league admitted that just in the last two minutes, multiple fouls were not called.

The Rockets lost game two by 6 points when their best player was scraped on the eye and eye lid and missed a key part in the first half... again on the road.

It isn't like the Rockets have been blown out or lost at home.......... seems really over the top, as the Rockets could have won either of those games and statistically should be split at 1-1.

Before this series started I said turnovers and KD would decide this series. The Rockets turned the ball over way too much in game 2 and lost. For all the talk of KD, and he has had some nice 5-6 bits of domination, he overall hasn't really been any better than James Harden. So far, the Rockets can live with what KD has done..... KD being a problem is getting 40+ points and taking over down the stretch.

Game 1. That's it that's the problem. We should've won game 1 but the referees decided that we shouldn't win.

The Rockets deserve to be lambasted by the media for their audacity in fielding 2 HOF players against Golden State's 4. How dare James Harden not score 50 every game against a stacked team aided by the crooked referees doing SIlver's bidding. What a choker.

I have a friend who's a die-hard Warrior fan, and usually he's nauseatingly arrogant this time of year. Even during last year's playoffs. He told me this morning that he feels really fortunate to be up 2-0 because he doesn't like what he saw from his team in those first two games. "Our teams from 3 or 4 years ago would have crushed a team playing this poorly. Instead, we barely beat you guys—on your bad nights, and on our home court."

Yes. The Warriors are not the same team that they were 3-4 years ago. A lot of it is that the league has made adjustments (including the Rockets) and the Warriors cannot do what they did before. Some of it is that they are just a little complacent and I don't think the chemistry is there. They seem to just want to get the season over with. Green, Durant, Klay and Cousins all are at the point where they are worried about their future. The only one that seems 100% satisfied where he is at, is Steph Curry.

If this series goes 6-7 games, get used to it. The only way the Rockets win a game 7 is if the Rockets outclass the Warriors by 10 points. The Warriors are going to be allowed to do what they want defensively and fouls will be called close of Rockets defenders.

In Game 1 Klay and Draymond tried repeatedly to injure Harden's ankles.

In Game 2 Draymond literally injured Harden's eyeballs.

Warriors with all stars still need to play dirty.
