I'm not even worried. This is what we've been waiting for. We have the best GM in basketball, the defending MVP, a 6th man of the year who also won the three point shoot out, a future hall of fame point guard, a rising dominant defensive force at center, solid role players, and potentially adding another perennial allstar? I'll take my chances...it's not like anyone else is beating the warriors.
I think Rox are still the 2nd best team in the league but tbh I've given up all hope of beating GSW. We can't do it cuz 2 allstars can't beat 4 all stars especially since Kd and Steph are top 4 NBA players. Maybe if they have more freak injuries we can sneak past them.
The thing is Ariza and luc were a huge part of why we were a great defensive team and had any shot at the warriors last year. If our defense takes a half step back we have no shot next year. We need another 3&D wing but there aren’t many options.
Theoretically, if we re-sign Clint, pickup Melo on the cheap and flip Anderson for Bazemore or something... has our window 'reopened'? lol... to say 'the window has closed' is more an end of era thing... entering rebuild... not missing a complimentary piece or two... imo...
Actually Rockets never had a chance for championship since Morey joined, none in the next 8 seasons either, IMO.
The Ringer is trash! I’ve tried listening to some of their podcasts and they’re all awful except for Simmons, who isn't what he once was.
That Harden and Paul would never work because they both need to dominate the ball and that the Rockets would be lucky to be a 7th or 8th seed and that Oklahoma City was the threat to Golden State.

Okc will win 48 games. Westbrook will get his triple double snd theyll get their 4/5 seed and itll all be because russ carried them with his fake rebounds. Meanwhile... 1st round exit and its because he doesnt have enough help
