Lazy take. Houston showed what's possible in game 2, and has completely deviated from that style of offense and defense.

If they can keep the pace on offense and play high energy switches on defense, they can hang with the Warriors.

Ha, the same people who are skeptical of LeBron fitting in with Harden were probably the same ones who thought Harden and CP3 wouldn't work. How is this still a thing? Harden has spent a big chunk of his career playing with big names.

What is this revisionist history? If OKC would have offered Harden the max contract (instead of Ibaka) he would have signed. It had nothing to do with his role and everything to do with the money, which he was absolutely correct to desire.

It's just the Ringer being the Ringer. For them, everything comes back to how the universe has conspired against poor Westbrook.

Yep. Harden's gone on record saying that he wanted to stay and didn't mind his role...all about the fact that they didn't offer him the max.

I agree that there is no pressure on Golden State. All of the pressure is on the Rockets to show that they can play better than a G-League team right now.

Do the math on how many media analysts are taking Golden State's golden schlong up their golden butt cracks right now.

That's the thing, they need to keep their pace, rather than just keep the pace with the Warriors to hang around.

We saw what happened in Game 2 because the Rockets played at the perfect pace to 1.) run their sets with sufficient time remaining on the clock to break down a defender and drive to the lane and 2.) keep the Warriors out of the fastbreak and into committing turnovers in the half court sets.

We were put on our heels to early and too often in Game 3 (by both the refs and the Warriors attack) so we must regain our pace and play the perfect game against the Warriros i.e. no more missed layups (11) in one quarter.

If we regain that poise we'll be golden tonight. If not.... well see these guys back home for Game 5. o_O

The math is much simpler than that.

The Rockets do not score enough point on offense and let the Warriors score too many points on defense. That's the basic math problem the Rockets have run into.

The Ringer is pretty anti Houston, just because they don’t like the style that they play. You can hear it in most of their people in the content that they publish. When the Rockets win game 4, it will be pretty silent on their end: “Houston takes advantage of GSW malaise”. Then next game, if they lose, “Houston showing the fundamental flaw in their game”

    Basic math problem

We don’t have Durant abd they do

Hell we don’t even have 4 all stars like they do

Meanwhile a former star iggy is just chilling like he is some scrub no name or something but low key killing it in a lower role

Just crazy how stacked they are

The Rockets have run into a basic math problem: the Warriors have won 2 games, and the Rockets have only won one.

Enter Morey gif of numbers written on see-thru surface.

With caption -Don’t make me stick this marker in your eye-

Plan was for 3 super stars. Harden and CP3 are 2 super stars. Capela is a star. Unfortunately CP3 moves to
3rd option in a WCF’s or NBA finals due to height (IMO)......but a super star none the less.

Next year Harden/CP3/Capela will all be super stars as Rockets. Possibly adding another star this summer.

P.S. Durant and Curry are super stars. Draymond and Klay are not worthy of being All Stars. We will hopefully
see how this turns out with no Iggy to help defensively.
