People who hate the Rockets are basically separated into the following camps:

2. Ball movement enthusiasts

so is he implying that after harden gathers the ball at this moment that it's impossible for him to get behind the 3 pt line legally (gather and 2 steps)?

 

I remember people saying they hated watching the Spurs play in the 90's because they just slowed the game down to grind teams out.

I'd sit back on Harden and Paul and let them shoot... crowding them is a disaster... I'd rather Harden shoot 45 times a game than allowing the 3 point shooters multiple looks... I don't understand guarding thee guys so close... they are un-guardable one on one so why try?

If I'm going to lose with Harden and Paul teaming up for 100 points then so be it

 

i like how harden haters have used the 1 questionable step-back "travel" that he used against the timberwolves and act like that one play is the example of all his other stepbacks.

Harden took 3 steps after that point. It’s been dissected to death.

The problem is that he’s picking one example in which Harden technically traveled if you slow it down to super slow motion, and presenting it like that’s typical of his step back move. If that is so typical and he does it all the time, why do these critics keep pointing us to the same damn play?

I don’t have a problem with anything else in the article, since it’s mostly subjective, but that part was just misleading.

 

The age of NBA #Narrative. Chose your end result. Then pick and chose events that may support that result, discard facts that disprove it.

The goal is not wisdom, but the story.
