It is what it is. You can't even argue with it.

    Not remotely.

It will have to heavily incorporate CGI

It only confirmed that the Rockets is on the wrong direction on wining championship.

in another note, is it a new NBA tendency that rookie coach would win final?

You are right, one can't argue with it, since it is what it is and what is, clearly is...CLE won it and I get that this might be the perfect time for a thread like this, but we've been here before...this is just another one of your 'This skies' Harden for Klove threads - I still wouldn't do it!

    K.

That Kevin Love is a winner/champion, James Harden is not and therefore Harden should be traded for Love?;)

I'm not sure what I missed... is your opinion that the Warriors model is faulty? I think three-point shooting is here to stay. I do think Cleveland's Game 7 win shows how important defense is though.

As I have been saying for years, you need to have a FTA rate of at least .3 to win a game 7 in the Finals against the Warriors.

It also shows just how important having the best player in the world is.

In 13 seasons James has made the NBA Finals 7 times.

He has made the playoffs 11 straight seasons and has gotten to the second round or further every single season.

He has led the NBA in playoff WS 6 times.

It is not impossible, but very hard to overcome facing the clear cut best player in the NBA.

If you watched the entire series, it's pretty obvious. Games 1-4 Irving and Love doesn't play good defence. Games 5-7 Irving and Love locks in and plays full effort defence for the entire duration they are in. 2 way players are more important than elite scorers. The warriors didn't score for 4:30 of the last 4th quarter. Even Love was running around chasing steph with full effort on defence. And that's what wins you games and championships.

He also took advantage of being in a very weak Eastern Conference... Mids 2000's were weak until the Boston Big 3 and the only comp was the Cavs. After that he bolts for the Heat... wins a few rings then comes home.

He's been very fortunate, but being the best player in the league helps...

I'm thinking this thread is a parody of the other recent threads suggesting that the game 7 result confirms various opinions and models.

Pretty much...and how many times he went to the finals by himself and with a couple of all stars next to him?

Anyway yeah, he's just the best out there, no question about this.
