Yao missed his fts at the end of the game because he was nervous. Hakeem was watching the match court side. Thats also why he was more aggressive, he didn't want to disappoint dream! :D

    I vote depth perception.

Oh wait, this isn't a poll.

It's hard to predict how Yao is gonna play. In the past, he's really stepped up in big games. But like today, he looked out of rhythm.

he played great through this game guys...

he scored 1/4 of the points for the rox...

he missed fts i think is that he is tired...

i mean the entire game he has to DEFEND duncan, battle frontings and fouls by the spurs and still score 21 points and PLAYED 39 MINS..

He's more nervous rather than tired.

Yao was neither tired nor nervous. Actually he never have been nervous in free throws. He was just too excited being referred fairly, something he did not get in last two games.

I think the word everyone is looking for would be, "CHOKE."

I know Oberto was really pissing him off, he was really getting mad at Oberto shoving and flopping around.

"Mental Toughness" ... Yao needs to work on that, and so does the rest of the team for that matter.

He shot the game ending FTs for so many times and everyone just take it for granted.

If we switch another player to shot the game ending FTs, most of us won't expect them to go in.

Well Yao is about to play for 36mins at maximum efficiency. Coach A has been over extending Yao so that when he gets to the end of games he is almost exhausted. An exhausted Yao is not an efficient Yao. :p

I would like to think Yao was overexcited. And I'm also a little worried that the coach has played Yao too long this season, which is not good for the play off.
