The real reason why the Rockets won't win a Championship for 3 years

    Answer : Harden.


    Not a HOH.


    Not talking about his atrocious D.

    But his Offense is lacking.

    Harden will get his foul calls on ALL REGULAR GAMES driving to the paint. He will not be bailed out by the refs in the playoffs.

    Everyone knows this, even in NFL playoffs they don't call PI in playoffs.

    Harden is a liability in D.

    Hardly drives to the paint in playoffs because he knows the refs won't bail him out.



    Oh and you will see some days where he goes 5-5 on 3's or 6-9 on 3's. But that is not everyday. It's once in a few games.


    With the way the Rockets are trying to achieve the Big 3, Harden is not one of them. He's not worth being a max player, and don't give the excuse he's young.

    Look at 1274 --- racking up the rep like Chandler Parsons.

    That's the reason his rep bar is red.

    He is too hot to handle for Clutchfans.

    To be fair, Harden is the only reason we have Dwight. Chandler Parsons and Lin were never going to be enough to recruit him.

    Don't really care about Lin. He's garbage in Rox uniform. Maybe when he leaves I'll be a fan. But hard to root for DH12 when everyone around him sucks.

    Dwight is a great center. Hall of fame player? No. He lacks the ability to take over a game. Look at his playoff performance, it was astoundingly good and we still lost. Now look at Harden. Harden can take over a game. That's the end of it, mods need to just lock this one up.

    What happens when Harden is double teamed? He kicks it out to the open guy. What happens to Dwight? He tends to crumble. Dwight is a great center, but if you can't see Harden is the alpha, then you are blind.

    Given that Harden's contract is very low for a max i hardly see how Harden can be viewed as a reason for this team not winning a championship. No matter what he will never be bad value. Look elsewhere for your answer.
