Nope. It's the playoffs and I just can't bet that O'Brien will finally out-coach Bill Belichick. It's not that I don't think they're more flawed than they have been or that the Texans can't beat them. It's just that I don't have confidence that BO'B can put together a game plan that beats them. We know Andy Reed's many paloyy failures. We know that the Chargers haven't done jack in the Phillip Rivers era. We know we can beat the Colts. We know we can beat just about anyone in the NFL. We can beat the Pats...but it will likely have to be in spite of B'OB instead of because of him.
Should have been a focus with BOB going all in on it, instead of him cowardly losing to the Eagles.... The better team lost to the better coached team. DD
Why is there not a thread titled scenarios where texans won't make playoffs. Remember 2012, when we just had to 1 game to get 1st round bye then lost 2 in a row. Allowed Denver and patriots to get the bye Same scenario
That was short lived 2nd seat. Now they must beat Jags at home. Jags can savage season by beating Texans and stopping team from reaching playoffs. Can happen.
Jets will play the Patriots tough next week. The way this wacky season has gone the Texans will either get the 2 seed or miss the playoffs.
Texans are in a tight spot. Colts and Titans are on runs, finishing hot. Texans are limping across the finish line. Not good. With DW there is always a chance, but today was a critical loss that could end the season.
Wild card round here we likely come. Texans *rapped the bed last week, especially the defense on that last drive accompanied by BOB's horridly conservative play-calling. This is what happens when you cede your destiny to a bunch of what-if, near-improbable scenarios. Another Houston NFL postseason that very likely ends in the wild card or divisional round.
