Not much. Chiefs would have to lose their remaining 2 games and we would have to win out to overtake them. Chiefs play the Raiders in KC week 17

I'm more focused on beating out NE for number 2.

The only game that truly matters for our bye week chances (outside of our own of course) is NE @ Pitt. Now KC losing takes away some of their shine, which isn't a bad thing either. But the Steelers are the team that can vault us into that 2 seed.

We will be playing their backup QB though, so we better not lose. We have actually been pretty lucky this year playing so many backup quarterbacks....LOL. But Foles is still good, and better than most backups, so I have a hard time thinking of him as a backup really.

Plus he'll have a game as starter under his belt before playing the Texans (in a home game).

He's led them to a Super Bowl but I guess they felt he was second best. Regardless, our team is better than the Eagles, unless we have been disillusioned by the smokescreen of less than quality teams and quarterbacks we have faced in most of our wins.

Texans control their own destiny. Win out and get a 1 or 2 seed!

Firmly in the #2 seed. We control our own destiny if we win out.

Easier said than done. That game in Philly has trouble written all over it. Hope they pull it off. Would be first AFC Divisional Game in Houston since 1994 when the Oilers hosted the Chiefs.

The Texans just need to win out and avoid all those tiebreaker scenarios, entirely. You get the #2 or have a chance at #1 jumping over KC and those b@stard Chargers. We could possibly get two home playoff games with a bye.

The Texans are the worst 2nd seeded team in NFL history

And in true Texans fashion they will probably blow it, most likely lose the last game to Jacksonville. Hopefully this is a different year and they take care of business. That bye is crucial to having any type of success in this years playoffs.

I like what KC is doing. Especially with Mahomes and with Reid getting them out of the cellar. But, that defense is going to make them a 1 and done team.

Yeah, that is probably true. Funny thing is not too long ago the Giants were just as bad as a wild card and ended up winning the Super Bowl.
