Mancz finally replaced him until Jeff Allen went down. Crazy part is Kyle Allen (7th round C from Baylor) could be listed as the backup LG, RG, and C if Allen is out Thursday. Doesn't really matter what position it is, you can't have that many draft misses in the 2nd to mid-rounds and expect to field a good team. Braxton Miller, Tyler Ervin, Strong, Mumphery, XSF, Nix, Brennan Williams, Sam Montgomery, Trevardo Williams, DeVier Posey were all 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks that have amounted to nothing since 2012. And it's not like the guys that are gone went to play for other teams, they are straight out of the league.
Would you guys rather have a 8-8 team with same issues and go to the playoffs? Or just completely suck and fire everyone. Start fresh.
That's an easy one. Go 3-13 and blow it up. The good news is there are some pieces to build around with Watson, Hopkins, Martin, Fuller and Foreman on offense and Clowney, Merci, McKinney and maybe Kevin Johnson on defense. Get rid of the entire staff and front office (except Chris Olsen he's done a good job managing the cap). Cut Cushing, cut/trade Brown and you have an additional 15 million plus to spend in free agency to compensate for a lack of draft picks this offseason. Watt is a tough one. He's a hero post-Harvey but he may be done as a dominant player. Is he worth over 15million a year going forward? I doubt it. His contract is easy to get out of after this season. The rebuild/ retool may not be as painful as we think.
The defensive line has an abundance of talent yet couldn't get any pressure or stop anyone. Maybe it's Harvey.
Hell no. Going 3-13 or whatever just makes our traded picks that much more valuable (and painful). No reason you can't go 8-8 and still fire everyone.
Organizational issues? perhaps if the $100MM phony showed up once in a while instead of quitting Spoiler
The problem is 8-8 doesn't get everyone fired. McNair the eternal optimist will spin it in his head as a non losing season and keep Smith. McNair only fires people when the bottom falls out such as 2005 and 2013.

Not only did Smith survive 2013, he got an extension after missing the playoffs and the goose egg wild card game the following 2 seasons.
I agree with you about 610 and their Texans propoganda. I stopped listening to 790 after they dropped Charlie Pallilo for the warthog Josh Innes. Anyone with a brain stem could see there were issues with the OL - anyone but the Texans coaching and scouting staffs that is. Now they are staring at an 0-3 hole to start off the season and are following in Indy's footsteps to get their young QB seriously hurt because they were too stupid to build up the OL.
Josh Innes is turrible on anything except baseball. My commute I listen to Spanish music. Its good for the soul.
Wow, that's insane. I barely recognize anyone from that garbage heap. 15 years of suffering and the beat goes on.....
I have worried about the state of their offensive line for several years. What told me we might be in for a long year was how dominant the Saints D was in the third preseason game against the Texans. Minnesota is rag dolling them tonight.
610 am was saying today foreman will be fresh for cincy, that not knowing who will start at qb is a good thing since it keeps opponents guessing. These guys are comedy gold
