Is simply James and Chris developing a nasty two-man game. They both were fantastic almost individually tonight, but as they develop more chemistry and learn to play off each other more, that's when the Rockets become unstoppable as an offense. In the meantime though: Keep cooking 'em.
11 of the next 15 games are at Toyota Center, almost all of them against mediocre or worse competition, with just one B2B (and two 3-day breaks). No better time for CP3 to get acclimated. I'd still like to see Daryl grab a competent, veteran PG for spot duty. Aaron Brooks is currently buried on Thibs' bench, I wouldn't mind getting him back.
They're marked brah. Going to bring this up if we fail to get mad at you and bring it up if we win, to hail you the 2nd coming. SIL
Looking closely at the gif, Howard looks jealous of Harden and bitter that he even ran down the court for that last possession, and now has to run back to play D for Harden. So sad
I don't agree... Paul and Harden can't outscore teams by themselves.... the Rocket's success lies with the role players. You know what CP and Harden will give you... I think this team has the makings of a championship team...
they were not washed up at all... all they needed is a bit of a break and a good coach and a good system, and a good home crowd would go long way with those 3
Rockets can be, could be, should be a "load" in a seven-game series. They are definitely in the mix. GS is not undefeatable. I agree that the KEY is the performance of the role players, especially on defense. PLUS, Paul must be ready to "take over" for Harden when he mysteriously and predictably disappears in the most important, critical, and pivotal game of the season.
