http://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id...brother-lonzo-ball-scores-92-high-school-game Yes, it was a high school game but the dude is only a sophomore. If you watch some of the footage you will notice that this kid might have a quicker release on his shot than Curry does and he's likely to be a bigger/stronger player too. The similarities are there, but the hair styles are much different. In fact, LaMelo seems to be going with the Odell Beckham Jr look.
Did you watch the full game highlights? Cherry-picking his way to atleast 30 of those 92. Great shooter of the ball, but his motor pisses me off.
God I just hate this kid's look so much. I want to see some Artest character lock him down 100 percent and shatter his confidence.
I don't know El Dudo. I played with Klay Thompson in a 3 on 3 tournament and he was the biggest, spoiled, entitled b**** I have ever met. This kid just give me that vibe. Same thing with Steph. Ugh, gross... I'm usually a pacifist, man.
Not trying to sound like a hater, but the defense he was playing against was pretty wack. Not to mention, this kid never plays defense himself and comes off as a huge ball hog. He's also extremely cocky. I don't like his attitude, and tbh I can't wait for him to get exposed against good defenses in college. No way this guy makes the NBA. If he does, he'll be out of the league in less than a year or two. BTW his jumpshot is ugly as hell.
Did you see him in transition defense? No ... because there was no transition defense to speak of. Just casually strolling back waiting for a miss to go on a fast break. On a lot of the highlights, he hasn't even made it to the half court and he gets the ball back. I can understand a lumbering center do that, but not a SG.
Was that even basketball they were playing? Looked like an NBA All-Star game out there, a complete joke.
Cherry picked his way to most of those points and I heard his team intentionally fouled the opponent so that they couldn't run out the clock. Pretty shameful behavior IMO.
