It's nothing more than a way for the hard liquor companies to get around the hard liquor TV advertising ban. Jack Daniels, Stoli Vodka and Sauza Tequila also have plans to release malternatives. If you ask me, it's a pretty slick idea when you think about it. All the companies do is take beer (which is pretty cheap to make), filter it down until it has no color or taste, then add whatever flavor they want. Then, they slap the hard liquor name on the bottle with another catchy word (the Sauza beverage will be called "Sauza Diablo") and BINGO! I love the Hard Lemondae 'cept they sure are watered down. I generally add a shot of tequila or vodka to amp it up a bit. There was a drink thread a while back and someone dubbed it "Mr.Oily's REALLY Hard Lemonade"!
its hard to play power hour with those drinks, maybe because they are so sweet. especially if you run out and you try to switch over to beer. its a sure way to throw up, if you are playing that game. im still convinced theyre girl drinks
