Our trades to move salary have ****ed our ability to get better , as moves like that normally do

More or less correct, though I think you could also say we need more playable bodies. The off-season was a disaster and Morey did a decent job finding Rivers, Shumpert and Faried, but against a team like the Warriors, that’s just not enough.

 

We need to get players who fit the system or we need to change the system. I assume we won’t change the system or coach. So If you can’t switch on D, and you can’t reliably hit 3’s then you don’t fit, unless you are cheap and fine with be used in special circumstances like Nene. You need a couple of Nene’s only cheaper. Capela is a nice player, but he’s too expensive for how he fits this team. He has to go.

The rest of the players need to be 3 and D guards.
