The media is character assasinating James Harden because they dont want him to tie Steph in MVP's

this goes back to 2013 when harden made the all-star team and all-nba over curry.

The media up until 2016 had been trying to get curry equal to harden in all-nba selections. They used a dissapointing 2016 season to leave harden completely off all-nba.

The thing with harden is that he has to play this way and put up amazing numbers, because the sports media will not give him the benefit of the doubt like they do with draymon, lowry, or even klay thompson. Those 3 guys i named can have PER's of under 20 and still make all nba. Harden has to be superhuman, and even then all it takes is a kawhi leonard block or a paul george win in primetime, to change the narrative and dismiss all the hard work harden had done up until that point. Harden is judged by a totally different set of rules than any other player in the league

And i also find it funny how the media is b****ing about hardens playstyle, but this is a monster that they created. If they would have awarded Harden his all nba selection in 2016 and his mvp in 2017. Harden would not feel like he has to play like this to get awards. Harden before this streak was ALWAYS a willing passer, and they were like 14th in the west and many were calling the rockets the dissapointment of the year. Then harden goes on an amazing streak and thrust them back in the playoff picture and they are still hating on harden. So with james harden its damned if you do damned if you dont

The reason why the media wants Harden to stop playing the way he is playing is because its damn effiecent and revolutionary. My uncle coaches AAU in california and he says young guys have moved away from the steph curry playstyle and are emulating harden more and more( whether its the stepback, the eurostep or the holding ball out looking for a foul technique). Giannis is nice but many players have had his statline including Harden in 2017 with 29/11/8 slashes. The nba media is hellbent on character assisnating Harden because harden is pushing their beloved curry out of the limelight once more. Harden is cool with Ted Cruz and ESPN is pro sjw( thats also a problem). Most nba players act like females and whine about everything, Harden is one of the last few pros we have in the NBA. I mean you got all these players b****ing about teaming up, complaining about rest and the refs. And Harden doesnt complain and just shows up to work

The media and espn keep trashing harden hoping he lashes out at them, but he doesnt mind them and just keeps dominating
