Defensive Ranking -- San Diego --- 28th Defensive Ranking -- Green Bay --- 27th Defensive Ranking -- Indianapolis --- 26th Defensive Ranking -- Jacksonville --- 25th Defensive Ranking -- Cincinati --- 17th Defensive Ranking -- Tennessee --- 24th I'm sorry but I am expecting 5-1 at worse So 11-5 should be our final record I predicted no less than 10-6 With the whole host of problems the team has had . . . . This is D*MN good. Rocket River
The San Diego and the Green Bay games worry me the most. If we can't shut down their offenses, we're in trouble. Also, we really want to have the division wrapped up before meeting Tennessee in the last game. That all being said, we have the youngest offense in the league. As I've been saying, it's going to take time for it to come together. We still haven't had the full playbook for a single game. As things start to gel, especially against worse defenses, this team should get better and better. Hopefully, we avoid major injuries, hit our stride as the season progresses, and then play like our hair's on fire because we're angry at the world for the screwjob just given to us. Clearly, they were pissed off by all the worst 6-3 team ever talk. Let everyone keep talking. Things could line up well for this team.
The Texans have proven that they can only beat teams by a slim margin. Even though all those games are technically winnable, there's very little margin for error. It could come down to a fluke play that we can't recover from.
I did that because it should give BROCK more leeway I felt our losses were more about the offense than the defense We should be able to score .. . . their records are not great either Rocket River
Good 6 game winning streak coming up. McNair will be so impressed and extend B0'B another 3yrs. GO TEXANS!!!
I'm guessing your defensive rankings are by points allowed per game? If so, not a good indicator of defense at all.
Raiders were a BAD defense too, so.....yeah. As much as Texans "control" their own way, they'll need Colts and Titans to struggle just as much
Yeah they rank it by points. I would use footballoutsiders DVOA for a better ranking of defenses. It's by efficiency. Points allowed per game can be skewed if offenses are giving up defensive touchdowns, defenses having short fields, etc... Next 3 games will be tough. Wouldn't be surprised if we went 3-0 or 0-3. Chargers - off emotional loss/rigged game and coming from altitude/short week dealing with a great Chargers offense Packers - Lambeau is a tough place to win at and look ahead spot to Indy. GB could definitely mail it in at this point though Indy - we don't have a great track record there and its a back to back road game. Always hard to beat same opponent twice in a season unless they are utter trash
Now that would be a downer At worse . . . they will be tied with the Titans going into the last game and find a way to win Rocket River
