My question is this: does this raise the stock of Madonna? or lower the stock of Madonna? Does this raise or lower the Stock of Britney? Yahoo has this picture rated at 3 witch means alot of people were offended. is it "hot" that a 21? year old girl is kissing a 45 year old? it was obviously a media "stunt" so lets give them their time
20 years ago this would have been big news --- now society is so jaded I don't think this does anything long term to either one

i was flipping channels and saw this last night...had absolutely zero effect on me. i changed the channel. i think britney is quite attractive...i've never felt that way about madonna...but all of this crap on the MTV awards is so stupid...it's like watching pro wrestling (sorry, Refman)...it's all set up to attempt to shock you...they kiss and then the camera immediately pans to Justin Timberlake...like I'm supposed to care what he thinks about his ex-girlfriend kissing a woman who looks like her mother. i told my wife last night, half-joking, that Britney and Justin probably never broke up...they probably still have a relationship, but are using this conflict to boost their careers...seems to have worked for Justin, recording the album Michael Jackson wishes he could have recorded about 10 years ago, and making videos which focus on the conflict. i remember a long time back david letterman once said with his sarcastic smile, "Ya know...I think that Madonna is just trying to shock us." The "captain obvious" dimension to that statement made it so funny...but the game is old now...been there...done that....we've seen girls kiss before...hell, you can't watch TV very long without seeing it. perhaps i'm just getting old...i don't think i'm MTV's target audience anymore.
I'm sorry, but Madonna is still on my top five list of hot chicks over 40...she's aged like fine brandy...
I agree completely. People know how I feel about Britney Spears, lol , but she is attractive. And yes, I like most men do for some reason find 2 attractive women kissing each other intriguing. But I am sorry that I don't get intrigued with a 45 year old like Madonna kissing Britney Spears. And like Max and others have said - it was all scripted by MTV for publicity purposes which is usually a sign of desperation by the network that screams "We have an inferior product, so we are going to do things to get people to watch like have 2 female pop stars kiss each other on the lips." Yawn.

I never quote just to say LO-freaking-L!! but .... agree with Max, nothing that is on Mtv surprises me anymore...nor does it make me want to watch. I know that I aint in their demographic anymore..
